Overview

Golf

Golf Club Perelada features an 18-hole, par-71 golf course. Opened in June 1993, the course includes five par threes, nine par fours and four par fives. Course distances range from 4,728 metres from the red tees to 6,039 metres from the white tees.

The layout welcomes different playing levels, with a maximum handicap of 36 for men and women. Practice facilities include a nine-hole Pitch and Putt course, three putting greens, an approach area, a bunker area and a two-level driving range. The covered lower level has lighting for evening practice, while golfers also have access to a natural-grass tee line.

The golf school provides individual and group tuition, supported by technical and video training rooms. Golf club, buggy and trolley hire are available. Further services include changing rooms, lockers, showers, towel service and a pro shop.

Accommodation

Hotel Perelada has 64 rooms, including ten suites. Room categories include Standard, Superior and Deluxe rooms, alongside Garden Suites and a Presidential Suite.

The hotel also has two accessible rooms and two pet-friendly rooms.

Dining

L’Olivera is the main restaurant at Hotel Perelada. The restaurant serves contemporary Mediterranean cuisine inspired by produce from the sea and mountains of the Empordà. Dining choices include à la carte, weekly and tasting menus created by chef Paco Pérez.

The 19th offers an informal setting for lunch and dinner. From May to October, the Garden Bar Restaurant serves fresh, relaxed dishes beside the hotel outdoor swimming pool.

Restaurant Castell Perelada sits within Castle and serves à la carte and tasting menus based on modern interpretations of Catalan cuisine. The restaurant holds one Michelin star in the 2026 Michelin Guide.

Celler 1923 Wine Bar, located at Perelada Winery, serves Empordà specialities, Girona cold meats and cheese boards paired with Perelada wines.

Facilities

Hotel Perelada has an outdoor swimming pool, gym, WineSpa and padel court. The WineSpa includes a heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and thermal loungers. Its treatment menu features facial and body therapies based on vinotherapy.

The gym contains Technogym equipment and hosts guided exercise sessions, yoga and Pilates. Bicycle hire is also available for exploring the surrounding area.

Free outdoor parking and electric-vehicle charging points are available. Indoor parking is subject to availability.

Perelada Winery opened in 2022. RCR Arquitectes, recipients of the 2017 Pritzker Architecture Prize, designed the building. The winery became the first in Europe to receive LEED Gold certification. Visitor facilities include tasting rooms, a wine boutique and a 47-seat auditorium.

The wider estate includes Perelada Castle, eight hectares of historic gardens, a casino and the Perelada Festival. The castle museum includes the Carmen Church and cloister, a library, glass and ceramics collections, a wine museum and a Hispano Suiza exhibition.

Location

Hotel Perelada is in Peralada, Girona, within the Empordà area of the Costa Brava. The resort lies between the Mediterranean coast and the Pyrenees, surrounded by vineyards and countryside.

Nearby places of interest include Figueres, Girona, Cadaqués, Besalú, Empúries, the Dalí Museum and Sant Pere de Rodes. Figueres-Vilafant high-speed railway station is approximately 10 km from Golf Club Perelada. Girona railway station is approximately 49 km away.
