Overview
Minthis Course is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course measuring 5,902 metres. Donald Steel designed the original course in 1994, and Mackenzie & Ebert later completed a renovation.
The course follows the existing terrain and passes a 12th-century monastery. Views extend towards the Troodos Mountains and the surrounding countryside.
Course Details
Minthis Course offers a varied test shaped by the land’s natural contours. Changes in elevation and the course’s relationship with the terrain require careful club selection and accurate shot placement.
The 5,902-metre layout suits golfers seeking a full championship course without excessive length. Minthis Course also holds GEO Certified status.
Course Highlights
The 12th-century monastery forms one of the course’s defining features. Its position within the layout gives the round a character closely tied to the site’s history.
Donald Steel’s original design and the later work by Mackenzie & Ebert place the terrain at the centre of the playing experience. Mountain views and changes in level provide a distinctive setting throughout the round.
Practice Facilities
The TrackMan Range uses radar-based ball-tracking technology to provide detailed shot data during practice. Golfers use the system for technique work, target-based practice and interactive games.
Minthis Golf Academy provides individual tuition and lessons for corporate groups. A PGA professional tailors each session around the golfer’s ability, objectives and chosen areas of improvement.
The Junior Golf Academy runs from January to June and again from September to November. The programme includes at least 32 hours of training with a PGA-certified golf professional.
Clubhouse & Facilities
The Minthis clubhouse provides a restaurant, golf terrace and bar. Golfers have space for lunch, refreshments or post-round drinks while reviewing their scorecards.
The restaurant serves dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients. The terrace offers outdoor seating, while the bar serves beer, cocktails and other drinks.
The pro shop stocks golf clothing, equipment and accessories from established golf and designer brands. Its range includes Galvin Green clothing.
