Lighthouse Golf Course

Overview

Lighthouse Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 championship layout on Bulgaria’s Cape Kaliakra Signature Golf Coast. Designed by former Ryder Cup captain Ian Woosnam, the course combines open Black Sea views with strategic fairways, five lakes and a large natural playing area.

The course has received multiple World Golf Awards and hosted the European Tour Senior Classic in 2018.

Lighthouse measures 6,338 metres and has an EGA slope rating of 128. Its course rating is 70.

The course covers a substantial area, including 222,000 square metres of fairways, 580,000 square metres of rough and 11,560 square metres of greens. Its teeing areas extend across 36,000 square metres.

Five lakes cover a combined area of 33,000 square metres, adding a strategic element to the layout. A 12-kilometre network of paths supports movement around the course.

Lighthouse Golf Course is a member of the Bulgarian Golf Association and European Golf Association.

The clubhouse includes a restaurant and terrace overlooking the golf surroundings. A professional shop stocks golf equipment and clothing, while secure club storage is available on site.

Player services include a Caddie Master, bag drop and club-cleaning service. Golf buggies, electric trolleys, manual trolleys and rental clubs are available.

Changing rooms provide private, lockable storage spaces. A buggy bar and halfway house serve players during their round.

The club also supports golf groups, tournaments and organised sporting events.
