Overview
Serres de Pals is a nine-hole golf course set between Pals and Torroella de Montgrí in the Baix Empordà. The layout follows the natural form of the land, passing through rice fields, vineyards and olive groves.
Course Details
Originally designed by Ramon Espinosa, Serres de Pals reopened in June 2023 as a nine-hole, par-36 course. The nine holes also combine to form an 18-hole round.
Each hole has six teeing positions, providing up to ten course combinations for different standards of play. Orange tees form a 1,891-metre executive layout suited to juniors, seniors and beginners.
Course Highlights
The course follows the contours of the original terrain, giving the layout a natural connection with its surroundings. Views extend towards the medieval town of Pals, Torroella de Montgrí Castle and the rural scenery of the Empordanet.
The range of teeing options changes the length and character of the holes, supporting both nine-hole and 18-hole formats.
Practice Facilities
The main practice area includes a long-game range with mats, a putting green and an approach area directed towards the range. Yellow practice balls are permitted within this area.
A second putting green and approach area sit in front of the clubhouse. Yellow practice balls are not permitted here, and approach shots must remain within the designated areas.
The golf school provides tuition for players of all ages and standards, from beginners through to experienced golfers. Its teaching approach focuses on practical instruction adapted to each player.
Clubhouse & Facilities
The clubhouse is positioned beside the secondary putting and approach areas, providing convenient access before and after a round. The golf school and wider practice facilities support individual tuition and game development during a stay.

Serres de Pals lies between Pals and Torroella de Montgrí on the Costa Brava. Its Baix Empordà setting places the course among rice fields, vineyards and olive trees, with views of Pals and Torroella de Montgrí Castle.
