Valle del Este Resort

Overview

Valle del Este Resort is a four-star golf and spa hotel in Vera, Almería. Built in 2004 and renovated in 2014, the resort combines 142 rooms with an on-site golf course, spa, dining and leisure facilities.

Its position in eastern Almería provides more than 3,000 hours of sunshine each year, supporting golf and outdoor activities across the seasons.

Golf

The hotel overlooks Valle del Este’s 18-hole golf course. Half of the rooms face east across holes 10 to 18, while the remaining rooms look west across holes 1 to 9.

This arrangement provides golf-course views throughout the accommodation. East-facing terraces also feature distant views towards the Mediterranean Sea.

Accommodation

Valle del Este Resort has 130 Double Rooms, ten Suites and two Junior Suites. Each room is bright and spacious, with either wooden or ceramic flooring and a contemporary interior.

Standard Double Rooms measure up to 30 square metres and include the amenities expected from a four-star hotel.

Junior Suites provide up to 40 square metres of space, with Nespresso coffee and kettle facilities.

Suites measure up to 60 square metres and also include a Nespresso machine and kettle.

Every room overlooks the golf course, with a choice of sunrise-facing or sunset-facing accommodation.

Dining

The hotel’s buffet restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. Show cooking forms part of the service, alongside themed dinners held throughout the year.

A large outdoor terrace provides space for open-air breakfast and evening dining. The buffet includes vegetarian and gluten-free choices for guests with specific dietary requirements.

A restaurant and pub are also located beside the main swimming pool.

Facilities

The Spa and Hydrotherapy area includes a sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool, cold well and solarium. Its water facilities feature a hydromassage pool, air beds, heated beds, activity pool and pebble path.

The Wellness Centre includes a fitness area equipped with Technogym strength and cardiovascular training machines.

Outdoor facilities include a large swimming pool and a separate children’s pool. Padel courts are available within the resort.

Valle del Este also has a croquet lawn approved by the Spanish Croquet Federation. Court and equipment hire are available, with play open throughout the year for guests aged 16 and over.

Entertainment for adults runs year-round, while children’s entertainment operates seasonally. Lunar Cable Park, located nearby, provides wakeboarding and other water-based activities for beginners, experienced participants, families and groups.

Location

Valle del Este Resort is located in Vera, within the Levante Almeriense area of southern Spain. The coastal towns of Garrucha and Mojácar are also nearby.

Its position combines inland golf-course surroundings with access to the Mediterranean coastline.
